About The Episode
Had a great evening with a life-long crafter who measures distance by how long it takes to get to IKEA! "Crafty Al" joined us for an adventure at the Craft Roulette wheel tonight for her first live! Crafty Al has a FUNN YouTube channel where she features "Sheetload of Card" designs, which is a great idea for making many cards using the same sketch. I like how she approaches making cards which is great for a newbie or an "old-bee" like me.
Look at that "Die Board" in Crafty Al's background!
It was so FUNN to see Crafty Al LIVE in the act of creating - using new products to many of our audience (like Gamsol), and making a stinkin' cute card with all sorts of ideas that all came together for an, "Oh, yeah, you got this," card. Scroll down to see the card below.
Episode #33 submissions were just terrific! So much variety
During the show, you’ll discover…
- what a sheet-load of cards is
- Gamsol in action & how to prevent a black ink mistake
- Eunice
- it is ok to change stamp choices (as long as it is not glued down)
- see Crafty Al cut multiple layers with the same die
- brushing on color, then stamping
- foam tape tips
- Nuvo dropping eyes
- what white papers Crafty Al uses
I know you will enjoy many hours of Crafty Al creativity on her YouTube channel! Thank you so much for joining us, Crafty Al! You are a lot of FUNN.
Episode #33 submissions were just terrific! The cards have so much variety. Kiss your brains, contributors! We have an entire animal kingdom going on, and so many shades of orange! You guys are the grooviest. Thank you, and I look forward to sharing these on Friday's show (Episode #34).
Thank you, peanut gallery, so much for watching and chatting during the live show, sharing this blog, subscribing to our social media, supporting our talented Guest Crafters, and sending in such tremendous and diverse ideas! See you Friday at 6:30 p.m. Central for another night of improvisational paper crafting!
** The audio gets a little out of sync at the end, but we are leaving this video up because of how long it takes to render/upload these videos. We appreciate the understanding! **
