About The Episode
What a great start to a night! Chat room full of super nice crafters, had a new haircut, Ardyth was here for her second time at the wheel, and then about an hour in - BLAMMO! We crashed.
But, Mr. Producer had us back up and recording in moments - but without our chat friends. So, if you want to see the entire show (and I suggest you do), watch the YouTube version above instead of looking on FB. Thank you for understanding, and thank goodness Ardyth is one nice crafter!
If you haven't met Ardyth before, you are in for a treat. She is great at suggesting ways to use your products in cute and clever ways. She also is an extraordinary crafter and will inspire you to try new approaches to your creative times. I love her LIMES, 25 Days of Christmas Tags collab with Tracey McNeely, and my goodness, what this girl can do with a stencil has to be seen!
Her links are all in the Craft Roulette Guest Hall of Fame, but here is a link to her YouTube. You can also read her story in the Guest Hall of Fame, which I think, is a FUNN little tidbit. Thank you so much for spending some time with us and sharing your talents and super personality! Please follow Ardyth (MASKerade) on social media; you'll be glad you did.
The parameters
Some weeks the parameters let you drive in the fast lane, others weeks the parameters can feel like intense speed bumps in a parking lot. Sometimes, like this week, the immediate take is, "Wow, that is a heck of a parking lot full of intense speed bumps!" But after a while you figure out you can get over those speed bumps, and actually want to go over them again, and again!
This week had Ardyth puzzled at first, but she started doing what she does, and ended up with 2 remarkable cards. Well done, Ardyth! You are inspiring!
During this episode, you’ll learn…
- great idea for replacing die cut plates
- Ardyth's take on Gemini die cutting machines
- what Ardyth's secret is to do when she doesn't know what to do
- Ardytn's blending (isn't her blending gorgeous) tips
- an argument for not snacking while crafting or doing a puzzle! This one you have to hear!
SUBMISSIONS
Great job on your projects this week, gang! We went from the starfish at the bottom of the ocean to the stars high above us in the night sky! Coral was a stretching point for us, it seemed, but you rallied! You are invited to tell us your favorite colors which were added to the coral parameter.
I'll be showing the inside of my Christmas card (3rd card) on Friday's blog. It isn't a fancy fancy fold, just a plain ol' run-of-the-mill fancy fold.
Thank you to everyone who sent in a submission, please show them some love and give 'em some hearts here, on the Craft Roulette FB group, and on Friday night during the submission board. These are some of the nicest crafters around, and I enjoy "meeting" them through each week. Here is what one sweet contributor wrote, "I love craft roulette, it’s so fun and challenging! Thankyou!" We thank you all, too.

CREATIVITY
Ardyth was a great encourager for those of us who sometimes question whether we are "creative" or not. She said, "As long as you are happy with what you made, you're good." Isn't that refreshing?
Have a wonderful week. It is our Thanksgiving Day week in the U.S.A., and I am sure thankful for you.
It is our crafting friends like you that make Craft Roulette so FUNN. Thank you very much for joining us in “the peanut gallery”, by sharing our links, by supporting our Guest Crafters, by contributing your projects, and for encouraging each other. You make every spin special. Thank you. SEE YOU NEXT FRIDAY with Guest Crafter Karen Boyce!
