Biography
Hi! I’m Charlet Mallett, a Utah native now living in Freeport, Maine. I’ve been working in the design and papercrafting industry for over 25 years, but my creative journey started even earlier. I have a BFA in photography and began my career in advertising and marketing. As digital cameras took over, I transitioned into graphic design and found my place in the world of paper. My background includes commercial and product photography, catalog layout, graphic design, product management, and product development.
Cardmaking is my first love, and I never tire of paper, ink, and all the little creative details. It’s hard to describe my style—clean, maybe—but I love trying new things and experimenting with different looks and techniques.
Beyond crafting, I’m passionate about thrifting, home decorating, gardening, and baking. I’m a huge fan of live music, limited-edition concert posters, and pie (especially pie!).
